Happy Children's Day
Happy Child of God's Day :)

All believers of Jesus Christ are born again believers, and hence we are all children of God! :) I opened an email about Crusade's Crossroad tmr, and the title was "Happy Child of God Day".

What a refreshing idea! I'm happy and thankful for a holiday today, thanks to Hari Raya Puasa. I miss the time in primary school, where we'll enjoy a school holiday for 1st Oct Children's Day.

From today onwards, this day will be spent differently for me, in the knowledge that it is indeed a priviledge to be a Child of God.

I am going to bask in the presence of my Heavenly Father as I enjoy my holiday today :)

Last week's break was over before I knew it. Today is sort of a compensation of the lack of rest. Haha. Some photos below to compensate for the lack of updates.

Dear and I went to PS last Tuesday for Gelare.
Then we chanced upon the Manhatan Fish Market Restaurant.
So we decided to give it our first try for dinner.

We order a set for two, plus 1set of soup and drink.

The main dish. It includes fish, prawns, garlic rice, calamari, deep fried oysters & fries.
The portion was HUGE!!!

The prawns. The mayonise-tasting cream on top was nice.
It had been "burnt with fire" before our eyes.
But the prawns weren't very fresh...


The fish. Its ultra big piece. Fresh & good :)

The calamari & fried oyster section. Only I tried the fried oyster.
Its big and fat. I think oyster-lovers would like it, but not really to my liking...

Not forgeting, the garlic rice was the Best! The fries were nice too :) We were full very soon, and dear was grossed out by the special mayonise sauce. We hardly ate more than half the serving. This serving for two could feed at least a third person... We had to da bao cuz we felt bad wasting the food. But in the end, the remainders still ended up in the dustin... oops!

Good times revolve around Good Food. lolz.
I met up with the usual BS clique at Secret Recipe at Vivocity last Friday fro dinner & cakes :)
Below is what went into my tummy. (Now they're probably around my waist...)

The main dish that I shared with Charmaine cuz I wasn't really hungry.
Saving some space for the cakes..haha
The brownish thing is interesting! Its boneless chicken drumstick + ham + cheese.
The cheese in the centre oozes out when I cut it.

We ordered 3 slices of cake to share.

My favourite was: White Chocolate Macademia. Ultra sweet.

Blueberry cheesecake

Moist chocolate cake.
This was quite gross cuz the chocolate melted, and apparently separated from the oil.
It looks like oil spill on that black patch..lolz...

And...we finished everything!!

We wanted to catch Mamamia after that, but the timing wasn't good.

Still, managed to catch Babylon AD with dear, but the movie plot was bad. No storyline. Too much action at the start, then the show ended abruptly with a happy ending. Disappointed with it...don't watch if you're planning to...

I went to Robinson Expo Sale with dear last thursday and managed to get some good buys! Bought a big handbag for only 20 bucks, 2 sets of Piere Cardin undergarment at 12 each, and a 1.1L tumbler!! lolz.. I used it on Monday and my frens were amused...haha!! I wasn't dehydrated, just that I always have not enough water to drink after my dance practice...haha...

A memorable event during the break would have to be the basic Ballroom dance lessons I had with dear in school. Haha it was hilarious! Hee :p No photos to show, but its up to your imagination to picture me & Jon dancing.. lolz :D
