Today, Jon & I spotted an interesting machine at Le Meridien Hotel (beside the Istana) ...

It's actually a machine that sells UMBRELLA for S$8!! Never could imagine such a wise idea... haha

No hints for you... But if you put it into warm water, it expands!

And soon after, TADA!! It enlarges into a tiny hanky! I was so fascinated with it!! haha ;p

My 22nd birthday Celebration! (20th May)

First & foremost, I wanna thank all of you for wishing me happy birthday, whether its sms or card or facebook, or whether its belated or in time, I'm thankful I have a fren like you :)

Haha, needless to guess, I had a special celebration with my dearie Jonathan. Special thanks to YOU for making it so special for me this time ;p

A simplified recap of the events goes like this...

We had lunch at Mariner's Corner at Maritime House near Outram mrt. The steak was delicious, although inflation has hit the restaurant and the portion was reduced according to Jon. I'll let the photos do the talking.

Outside this restaurant there's this map with the respective times of a few different countries. I always think that having such a thing is so cool cuz you do not need to rmb the different timings of various countries.


Thereafter, we headed to the beach at ECP! Thank God for the good weather :)

Don't you feel the wind when you see our hair being blown back? hehe

We had Gelare waffles and ice cream becos its Tuesday!!! Yay ;p I love the Honey Malt Crunch!


Then, we pitched a tent to stay over. When we were done, it was alrdy night time.

We were pretty tired, and so we rested quite early... Besides the 2 flying insects that invaded our tent, we had quite a peaceful and tranquil night of rest, listening to the sea waters and enjoying the chilly breeze...

Romantic and lovely... the feeling was indescribable...
