Bought a new TOSHIBA M800 Portege lappie at NTU's IT fair (12 - 15 Aug in Nanyang Audi Level 3). rather good deal :) I chose the pearl white one (pink & black available too). I think it looks kinda like a mac book cuz of the white colour. The package comes with a free 8GB thumbdrive/printer/shopping voucher. Of course I chose the thummie! So happy with the extra storage space! A few softwares like Microsoft 2007, Norton Antivirus & Adobe were also included, all at the price of $1952.75. Glad to be sponsored $500 by my sis, as this year's bday pressie :) altho it was a long wait from my bday in May, I think its altogether worthwhile :) I would advise all year fours to get a new set of laptop b4 you graduate! Student benefits are always better than those at Expo IT fairs or Funan Mall.

My timetable has also been finalised... Modules I am taking are:

BS405 Muscle Bio
BS411 Microbio & Virology
CS10 Fundamentals of Communication Studies
CS802 Social Issues in Science & Technology

2 cores & 2 electives. These are the last few modules I need to clear before concentrating on next semester's FYP. stress is heightened, becos I need to clear all these modules, and this is my 2nd last chance of doing better to salvage my GPA :( Am very happy with my 4-days-week for the first time ever in uni! No more hall..must travel...but it's still bareable for now :)

I'm still joyous over the fact that I'm taking CS802 elective with dear :) First & most likely last chance of even taking the same module :) although the content is such profound sociology stuff, I'm thankful that we can help each other & also work in the same project group. We must Jiayou for this module darling!
