blur me...forgotten that i have FYP briefing today until Jo msg me..now still happily at home surfing the net :X

Thankfully I got the info abt the briefing from Qihui online... haiz... The timeline set for us seems so cramped! Lotsa preparation work to do in searching for a good & interesting research project. I hate to do wet labs; prefer 'dry labs' - computer labs/statistical studies, cuz I feel that there's lesser experimental errors & lesser chance of failure (due to contamination, inconsistency, etc). But seniors say 'dry lab' projects are harder to score :( I wish to do external FYP (cuz the school's profs aren't so nice to work with I feel), & ideally in CHG Research lab cuz its super near my house! I had purposedly taken the Current Topics in Microbio & Virology core module so that I can do at the CGH research lab, which specialises in Viral research. But...I don't really know how to get started!!! Someone pls give me some words of wisdom?

Past week I saw my TCM ex-coursemates presenting their FYP posters. I stood there stunned by the cheemness of their research techniques & thesis. Mostly were TCM-related. The amazing thing is that they had only 3 months plus to do, and they could produce such high quality! How am I able to produce such standard? I hate research work in general, and I had been thinking that if I'm in NUS, I'll prob choose to graduate with Bacholer's degree now. But my course is direct honours..and even though I'm doubtful whether my grades would even give me a 3rd class, I still have to stay thru the 4th year & FYP... Well, I juz pray that this would be a learning opportunity, and better know God's plan for me upon graduation...
