My supervisor...

He's a nice guy. I felt motivated and inspired by him. Besides the super long briefing on the project, he littered it with some humor and small chats about life, the government, uni lecturers, salary, etc. On the topic of my future career, he actually commented that I had the charisma of a teacher after I shared that I'm going to NIE after graduation..lol! I felt really happy to hear that because he said it quite sincerely. A memorable statement he made based on his personal experience on teaching was that all teachers must love their students. I was awed by it. No wonder he boasted about himself scoring 4.9/5 for students' feedback on his teaching in NUS. He's Indian, so I doubt this principle comes from the 10 commandments, but I am definitely reminded once again that in the near future, no matter how disappointing the students maybe, I should still love them, and this alone should be my principle to keep my passion to teach, because it is a act of obeying God and pleasing Him.

All these said, I have to get back to the reality that I am fully responsible for my FYP for the next 4 months!! Lots of things that I need to read up on! It has all began...

Gambatte!! :)
